In July he proposed to his girlfriend Ciara Janson in the midst of a sun-drenched sailing holiday in Croatia.
And on Sunday Eurovision 2015 winner Måns Zelmerlöw announced that his beautiful bride-to-be is pregnant with his first child.
To reveal the news, the “Heroes” singer uploaded an image on Instagram, which showed his actress girlfriend straddling his back and carrying images from her sonogram.
He captioned the image: “Small hero coming!! #wearecheesyaf.”
Cheesy, maybe — but also over-the-moon happy. She shared a similar image from the same shoot, altering the language of her caption to say, “Superhero en route, 2018.”
The couple have already welcome life into the world together. Over the summer Messi – Måns’ beautiful black labrador-retriever – became a father, after his lady gave birth to eight healthy puppies. The mother of the pups? None other than Ciara’s own pooch! The birth of the puppies made Messi’s “Dad” Måns a grandfather at the tender age of 30.
Ciara also has a son from an earlier relationship, and he seems to have taken to Måns rather quickly, as they are frequently seen enjoying moments together on Instagram.
COURTSHIP AND PROPOSAL
Since January Måns has lived just outside of London, where he’s recording music and enjoying a relationship with a British actress Ciara Janson, who is best-known for her work on the soap opera Hollyoaks.
The proposal took place at Fort George on the idyllic island of Vis in the southern Adriatic Sea. Built by the British during the Napoleonic wars, Fort George now offers the best views of Vis as well as delicious al fresco dining all summer long.
The Swedish stud popped the question to his British bride-to-be in the most romantic way.
At sunset, the “Cara Mia” hitmaker serenaded Ciara with his trusty acoustic guitar and then announced the news of the proposal through his Instagram page.
If the proposal wasn’t cute enough – we hope our future husbands are taking notes – the happy couple shared matching Instagram snaps.
Zelmerlöw left his fans to draw their own conclusions. He used his captions to tease fans, saying “about last night…” and ending the post with three heart emojis.
Ciara was more direct, gushing “Mrs Z To Be” in her caption, including the diamond ring emoji in case any of Måns’ many, many, many fanboys and fangirls were still in doubt.
Zelmerlöw’s PR rep confirmed the news in Stockholm, saying the couple were “engaged and happier than ever”.
Congratulations poured in immediately, with fellow Swedish stud Robin Bengtsson and “Undo” songstress Sanna Nielsen both sending their best wishes in the comments of Måns’ Instagram post.
