On friday, December 15, submissions for upcoming Montevizija has ended, and as we heard from RTCG, on their doors arrived more than 30 entries. Let’s remember, Montevizija will be used as selection for Montenegrin artist for the first time since 2006 and it will be broadcasted live from Hotel HILTON on February 17, as RTCG’s music editor Vladimir Maraš said for ESC Family.
– Because of transparency, it is decided that 3 jury members will be from Montenegro, and they will be joined by 2 members from outside of the country. Criteriums will be quality of composition, lyrics and production potential, which will probably be the biggest decision factor, as submitted entries are demo versions of the songs.
Slavko Kalezić represented Montenegro at the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest with song Space, earning 16th place with 56 points.
